Concentric Circles is an artistic study of form and motion in contrasting color. My artwork explores color relationships and how we perceive them as fields. I believe that we connect to color in different ways and that what I experience may not be exactly what you see. Through a contemporary lens, my artwork pays homage to the Color Field and Op art movements of long ago. Just as popular culture associates the image of concentric circles with time travel, my artwork is a social commentary on ideas prevalent today that have traveled back to us from decades long past.
Here are a few examples of my paintings:
Circles in Yellow and Violet
Circles in Red and Orange
Circles in Blue and Turquoise
Circles in Light and Cobalt Green
Circles in Black, Grey and White
